Akra-Señal has been carrying out work to improve road safety since 2002. Starting in 2012, it began to manufacture traffic signs made of aluminum, and a little later to incorporate electronics for better perception. These signals can be activated by radio frequency, by presence detectors, by speed detectors or by SMS messages.
At intertraffic 2024 they will present as a novelty their device to improve pedestrian safety by reinforcing the message of pedestrian traffic lights from the ground or pavement. Specifically, the novelty for this fair is that they are also made for bicycles, for pedestrians, the Irish green-amber-red model and the material is also new, since now they can make them in natural stone or granite.
